Bluffing is the act of making a bet or raising a bet that is unlikely to be successful. Many versions of the game are played with a fixed limit, which restricts how much a player can wager.
The dealer or house dealer handles the cards. Depending on the rules of the game, the cards may be dealt face down, face up, or in rotation. After a round of dealing, a player may check, or fold.
